Student Empowerment Summits

The Student Empowerment Summits give students a unique opportunity to step into the role of school leader — not in theory, but in practice. Participants work through the full arc of real-world school improvement: identifying issues that affect their peers, developing meaningful policy solutions, and presenting those solutions directly to local school board members.

Along the way, students build skills that extend far beyond the classroom — leadership, collaboration, policy thinking, and community engagement. With feedback from board members on both their ideas and presentation skills, students leave the summit better equipped to advocate for themselves and their communities.
